Clinical research lab environment

Human expertise

Three decades in the room where technology meets regulation.

Founder & Principal

Chris Prader

I'm a technologist, operator, and advisor. I started in code in the late 1990s, spent fourteen years in IT management at Covance — a global clinical research organization — working across multiple US locations and international roles, then built RPM Technologies into a thirty-person managed service provider purpose-built for life sciences and defense. RPM was acquired in April 2026.

Trial Logic is the next chapter: smaller, more selective, and entirely hands-on. I take on every engagement personally. No account managers, no handoffs. The same judgment I applied running an MSP for regulated industries — where compliance, continuity, and security weren't optional — is now applied directly to AI and clinical trial technology problems.

I'm based in Orlando, FL and work with clients globally. If the problem involves AI, regulated data, clinical operations, or technology strategy in a high-stakes environment, it's probably the kind of work I've been doing in some form for thirty years.

Background

A career built at the intersection of regulated environments and technology.

2025 — Now
Founder & Principal — Trial Logic, LLC
A selective advisory and build practice for regulated industries: enterprise AI strategy, clinical trial technology, AI application development, and data analytics. Completed the AI & Data Leadership certificate at MIT Sloan in May 2025.
2005 — 2026
Founder & CEO — RPM Technologies
Built and led a managed service provider specializing in IT for highly regulated industries — life sciences, defense, and healthcare. Grew to 30 employees over two decades; acquired in April 2026.
14 Years
IT Management — Covance (now Labcorp Drug Development)
Management and project leadership across multiple US locations and international roles at one of the world's largest CROs — the foundation for deep familiarity with clinical research operations, GxP environments, and regulated data.
Mid 1990s
Started in software development
Began as a developer before moving into IT management — the technical foundation that still informs how I evaluate systems, architecture, and vendor claims today.
